Art and Care
A COLLECTIVE MURAL AT A CHILDREN’S FIRST RECEPTION CENTER
We collaborated with the artist Rafa García to create a collective mural within a children’s first reception center, integrating art into a care environment with the aim of bringing colour, creativity, and a sense of belonging to the children, as well as to the professionals who support them every day.
Through this project, art became a shared experience, offering a moment of expression and connection in a space dedicated to protection, care, and new beginnings.

This artistic intervention goes beyond its aesthetic dimension. It is the result of a collaborative process in which the children living in the center and the educational and care team actively participated, contributing their ideas, energy, and creativity. Their involvement has been essential in giving the work its emotional depth and transforming it into a shared expression of hope, resilience, and community.
The initiative has been made possible thanks to the openness and collaboration of the children’s first reception center, which welcomed the project as part of its commitment to creating environments that support the well-being and development of the children in its care.

Badr El Jundi Foundation is deeply committed to supporting projects that benefit children and vulnerable communities. This mural is a clear example of how art can create moments of connection, transform everyday spaces, and contribute positively to environments dedicated to care, protection, and new beginnings.
