About us

A FORM OF CARE

Badr El Jundi Foundation
was born from a gallery. In July 2020, Badr El Jundi opened his first space in Marbella, Málaga — a place for contemporary art rooted in creative experimentation, international dialogue, and genuine support for artists.

In September 2022, the gallery moved to Madrid, expanding its reach and deepening its program of solo and group exhibitions, curatorial collaborations, and site-specific projects.

In April 2024, the gallery began its transition into a foundation — a shift that reflects not a change of values, but an expansion of purpose. The foundation preserves the gallery's commitment to emerging artists and rigorous artistic practice, while opening new ground: educational programs, community engagement, and social initiatives that bring art into hospitals, schools, and spaces beyond the traditional art circuit.

At its core, Badr El Jundi Foundation believes that art is not only a cultural act — it is a form of care.

Our core

The foundation works across three interconnected areas:

01
IMPACT

We create spaces rooted in community service and collective exchange. From interventions in orphanages and foundations to initiatives that promote positive ecological impact, our work engages contemporary art as a tool for care, connection, and shared responsibility—locally and internationally.

02
ARTISTS

We create interventions, residencies, and collaborative projects that bring art into healthcare settings, community spaces, and unconventional venues. We believe art has the capacity to transform environments and the people within them.

03
COLLECTION

Through acquisitions, awards at international art fairs, and collaborative projects, we support artists at early stages of their careers—helping them gain visibility, develop their practice, and, in turn, thoughtfully expand our collection.
